What's New? - December 2022
Rounding out the end of the year, it's time for our last update for 2022.
We know it's been a really busy time for most (hopefully all?) of you, and no doubt the holiday sales have been both hectic and exciting!
As usual, we've been hard at work behind the scenes making several improvements to Report Toaster. Here are a couple of quick snippets we wanted to share.
County Data on Tax Reports
Recently we've been working on a feature that allows us to include county data in Report Toaster.
This topic is all over the Shopify forums, as most of you know that Shopify doesn't currently make county information available as a field you can add to reports.
For those of you who need to report taxable sales on a per-county basis, this can be quite frustrating. Our hope is that by adding this data it will make filing taxes significantly easier.
The end result is a column that can be added to tax reports like this:

Using this data, you can see not just the totals owed for each jurisdiction (as in the Taxes by Jurisdiction report), but also compare results on a per-order basis.
This makes troubleshooting much easier when investigating individual orders.
Note: This data is made available to us through a third-party service that uses volume-based pricing. If this is something you're interested in adding to your account, contact us and we can discuss pricing and implementation.
Status Page
Like it or not, outages are a fact of life. With how busy things can get during the holiday season, we thought it was a good idea to remind users about our status page.
With luck, all you'll ever have to see on the page is this:

From here you can check the status of Report Toaster, including any outages or technical issues we might be experiencing.
There’s also a direct link (top right) if you're experiencing technical issues and would like to get in touch.
